Cyclone was a very important chapter in my path into game production. Over nearly 4 years, I worked as Lead Producer across Minecraft Marketplace projects, helping productions move from development to release and post-launch while also supporting the studio more broadly as it grew.

It was a role with a lot of range. I led cross-functional teams of 10 to 30+ people, supported the release of 12+ titles, worked in partnership with Microsoft and Mojang, and helped manage collaborations connected to brands like Disney, Toei Animation and Lush. It was fast-moving, demanding, and full of learning, and it shaped a lot of how I work today.

Project Management

I led production across multiple Minecraft Marketplace projects from development through release and post-launch. A big part of my work was helping teams stay aligned while managing timelines, budgets, QA, submissions and the many moving parts that sit behind delivery. Across that time, I coordinated teams ranging from 10 to 30+ people across production, art, design and external collaborators.Across that time, I coordinated teams ranging from 10 to 30+ people across production, art, design and external collaborators.

Live Ops & Release

I oversaw the release and post-launch support of 12+ published titles, alongside a broader pipeline of unreleased projects moving through production. Staying close to platform requirements, submission processes and the day-to-day rhythm of getting content out in a way that felt clear and dependable.

External Representation

I worked as the main external representative of the studio across different collaborations, helping build strong relationships through clear communication and reliable follow-through. That included working closely with major partners and first-party collaborations linked to brands such as Disney, Toei Animation and Lush.

Business Development & Studio Growth

Beyond production, I also supported Cyclone in more business-facing areas, helping strengthen how the studio presented itself as it grew. Part of that was designing Cyclone’s current website, which helped give the studio a clearer and more professional online presence. For me, it was not only a design project, but also a way of supporting the studio’s identity, visibility and growth from a broader business perspective. I also helped build and strengthen the studio’s core creative network, bringing in talent and supporting the kind of team growth that directly raised the overall quality of the projects we were producing.

Creative Support

Even though my main role was production, I stayed close to the creative side of the work throughout. I supported projects across art direction, UI and asset development when needed, which helped me keep a strong connection to the work itself and to the teams building it.

Highlight Project — Magic Spells

One of the internal projects I’m most proud of leading was Magic Spells, one of Cyclone’s original Minecraft Marketplace add-ons. I was involved in it from the very beginning, from ideation and game design to production and UI asset creation. It was a project I really believed in, built with a smaller part of the team, and over time it became one of Cyclone’s signature DLCs and one of the most popular add-ons on the Marketplace, with ongoing updates still supporting it. Publicly, the project reached a strong response, with 4.7/5 stars across roughly 11K ratings on Minecraft Marketplace and a trailer that has passed 1M+ views. It was also featured by Minecraft in their June 2024 Marketplace content.
